The Somali language is spoken by more than 35 million people, mainly in the Horn of Africa.We are convinced that all Dhoola users, happy with the services and benefits rendered by the application, will all have a smile on their lips. The word smile sums up very well the benefits of being a Dhoola user.Dhoola is a mobile application that allows its diaspora users not to send money to their families but rather:

buy/pay directly for services offered by providers
and/or to send money directly to a provider (in the form of a voucher)
once the service is completed the payment is made electronically and the provider receives the money via his mobile money.

Dhoola makes it possible for all residents of the €uro zone to pay directly and securely for the services of providers of their choice based in Africa, so that their relatives can benefit from these services.

When we started this project, we were quickly convinced by the impact that our product would have on society. Particularly on the relations between the African Diasporas (at first, then worldwide) spread around the world and their families and friends back home. Dhoola is an entirely African solution, (entirely Cameroonian) which brings a considerable added value to its users.At Dhoola we are convinced that supporting your loved ones is not only about sending them money. Supporting them is above all having access to available services but above all having the guarantee that the money sent contributes exclusively and without intermediary to the financing of the services your loved ones need.

The development of our idea is based on three specific observations.

Step 1Money Transfer

The money sent by diaspora nationals to their families back home is always intended to support them in solving concrete problems. It can be summarized as the purchase of services from local providers (health, food, etc.)

Step 2Final Recipient

For nationals of the diaspora, the final recipient when sending money is therefore a provider

Step 3Accesbility

Only providers with websites and web shops are directly accessible to individual diaspora members.

Based on these observations, making a direct relationship between providers and diaspora nationals possible is more than obvious. This is what Dhoola has done!
